Migration & implementation
Move the library.
Keep the teaching context.
A lecture capture migration involves more than video files. We inventory exports, map courses and captions, and verify the result with your team.
Begin with an export inventory
We review your Panopto or Echo360 library, the export access available under your agreement, file formats, captions, course structure and existing links. The initial assessment determines what can be imported, what needs transformation and what must be handled separately.
What the migration scope can include
- Available media and its recording metadata.
- Captions and transcripts in supported export formats.
- Folder, course and section mapping into Capture.
- Legacy link mapping or redirects where the institution controls those URLs.
- Playback sampling, checksums and a reconciliation report.
Validate before you expand
Capture includes Panopto and Echo360 import paths. Each institution’s exports and integrations still need validation. We start with a representative sample and check course access, synchronized media where available, captions, search and Canvas publication before expanding the migration.
Review formats, permissions, volumes and course mappings.
Import representative recordings and review them together.
Report differences, plan waves and agree on cutover.
A fixed scope after discovery
Migration is quoted separately from the software subscription. Transfer fees, export limitations, caption services and institution-controlled link changes are identified in the proposal. Your incumbent library remains available until you approve the cutover plan.
