CoreFeld Capture

Cost calculator

Budget for the library.
And the people watching it.

Estimate the SaaS platform fee, provider usage and service markup, or compare a deployment in your cloud. Adjust the workload and cost assumptions below.

Your starting workload

Total viewing time across all viewers.
One additional copy is budgeted by default.
Video quality and cloud assumptions
VMs, disks, application backups and networking.
An allowance for storage reads and writes. SaaS monitoring is covered by the platform fee.
A compute allowance, not a CoreFeld recording-hour fee.
Azure uses decimal GB; AWS/custom use GiB.
Default zero: an account-wide allowance cannot be promised independently to every SaaS tenant.
This is a planning estimate. Hosting and processing inputs are allowances, not measured capacity or a sized infrastructure quote. Human captions, migration, taxes and enhanced support are excluded.

First-year budget including new media growth

Includes $1,500 starting implementation. New recordings arrive evenly; no media is deleted during the first year.

Primary storage for 1,000 recorded hours

—

Per month, excluding backup, transfer and other costs.

How the estimate works

Recorded hours × tracks × average bitrate × rendition multiplier determine media size. Storage includes your additional backup copies. Playback hours × the total viewed bitrate determine transfer. For managed SaaS, the bill includes the platform fee and provider usage plus 25%. Shared hosting is covered by the platform fee. Customer-owned cloud adds its own hosting cost with no usage markup. The first-year estimate includes storage growth and the starting implementation fee.

Provider rate references

Rate examples checked 2026-10-02. Use your contract’s rates and discounts where available. Flat entry-tier rates are conservative for larger libraries; the estimate does not apply volume discounts.

Recording-hour inputs describe your workload. They do not impose or calculate a CoreFeld per-hour license charge.
